Center for Health, Physical Education, and Athletics -
The construction for the new Health, Physical Education and Athletics center is underway. The completed
Athletics Center will feature a 1200-seat arena, two practice courts, an indoor walking and jogging
track, space for the D&E Athletic Hall of Fame, dedicated locker rooms for basketball and volleyball,
and multi-sport suites that will accommodate men’s and women’s field sports, physical education classes,
and visiting teams. An athletic training suite, officials’ rooms, a laundry and generous storage areas
also will be included on the first floor, while classrooms, offices for faculty and coaches and a
library/conference room will be housed on the second floor. The new Center will be located behind
the Hermanson Campus Center.
