The
Boiler House Theatre.
In 1975, the old boiler house was renovated into the Boiler House
Theatre, where the College’s theatre productions are staged. The smokestack,
slate roof, cupola and colonial trim have been retained so that the
Theatre is rustic and intimate. The interior production area, 60 x
40 feet, is an ideal space for end, thrust, three-fourths round, full
round or environmental staging. Further renovations in 1997 provided
a scenery construction shop and expanded lobby. The boiler House is
also equipped with a state of the art computer memory lighting system.
