Campus Tour: Map
Jennings Randolph Hall,
originally built in 1959 as the college library, was named after
former West Virginia Senator Jennings Randolph. Randolph was also
a former faculty member at Davis & Elkins College. Today the building
is the hub of many college activities. The building houses the Senator,
Senatus and Aurora–the student newspaper,
yearbook and literary magazine, respectively–have offices in Jennings Randolph Hall. In addition,
the campus radio station, WCDE, broadcasts live from the ground
floor just across the hall from the Faculty Lounge. The main floor
houses the Student Life office, a large multipurpose room and the
campus mail room. The top floor houses the Student Assembly, Campus
Activities Board, and Chaplain's office in addition to general
meeting space.
