Merit-Based Institutional Scholarships
These are scholarships that you may be eligible for based on your grades, scores, and other distinguishing characteristics. Your Application for Admission is the only application you must submit for these scholarships. Once accepted to the College, you will be notified of your eligibility for these awards through your initial Financial Aid Award Letter from our office.
Merit Scholarship
Our Merit Scholarship is available to freshmen, non-traditional, transfer, and readmitted student applicants. The amount of your award will be determined by your grades, scores, and other distinguishing characteristics. You must have at least a 2.0 high-school or transfer GPA in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Highlands Scholarship
Our Highlands Scholarship is available to students graduating the year prior to enrollment from a high school in the following counties of WV: Barbour, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker, Upshur, and Webster. You must have a final high school GPA of at least 2.5 to qualify for this award. The award offers significant tuition discount to allow local students to attend our private institution at a public-level price. The current award amounts for the academic year 10-11 are $14,000/year for students living on campus and $11,000/year for those commuting to campus.
International Scholarship Our International Scholarship is available to students that are not US citizens that are studying at D&E.
