Campus Notes
All students, staff and faculty may post News &
Announcements at no charge. Campus Notes will be posted for two weeks at
a time. Notes will be changed every other Monday morning.
All notes should contain proper contact information, event location and time.
To post Campus Notes, send your submission, in electronic form, to Carol Schuler at
schulerc@davisandelkins.edu. Only electronic form submissions will be accepted.
- Announcing the new Campus Door
"Great Futures Start Here" Scholarship program.
Campus Door will be awarding $100,000 in scholarships during the 2006-2007 academic year.
Davis & Elkins College students are encouraged to apply for one of the 100 scholarships
being offered, of $1,000 each. Applications open on May 1st and run throughout the academic
year at
campusdoor.com/scholarship.
- National Alumni Council Scholarship - Full-time students who are lineal descendants of
an alumna/us, or are related by blood or marriage to an alumna/us or descendant of an alumna/us
are eligible to receive the scholarship. Recipients must demonstrate leadership qualities, be
involved in extra-curricular activities, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. The scholarship
will be renewable for up to four years as long as students continue to meet established criteria.
Please stop by the Financial Planning Office ASAP to pick up an application.
The application must be submitted along with three letters of recommendation
