The Center for Spirituality, Ethics & Global Awareness
Mission Statement
The Center for Spirituality, Ethics & Global Awareness is designed to promote multi-cultural understanding and appreciation for the role of religion and spirituality in human culture, moral enrichment and ethical practice, and diversified, global perspectives. The Center is committed to interdisciplinary education of the Davis & Elkins College campus community and the local Elkins community through lectures, visiting scholars, resident artists, cultural programs and performances and international conferences. Through these events, opportunities are produced for students, faculty, staff and community members to build a common foundation of knowledge and communication with one another while simultaneously creating a shared awareness of the global community.
