First Year Head Coach Jason Asbell recently signed Casey Batey from Norwin High School in North Huntingdon, PA as his first recruit at Davis and Elkins College. Casey enjoyed a successful senior season as the Knights (24-2) of Norwin finished first in the regular season standings for Class AAAA, Section I of the WPIAL.  Coach Asbell said, "Casey is a strong rebounder and shoots the ball well from the perimeter.  We are very excited that Casey was our first signing, in what we hope to be a very successful and hard-working class."  The Senators will open their 2008-2009 season in the McDonnell Center on November 17th versus WVIAC foe West Virginia State.
