The Davis & Elkins College baseball team will begin a new era today when Ron Palmer guides the Senators for the first time as new head coach at Francis Marion University in South Carolina.
The Senators of Davis and Elkins College demonstrated how far they have come this season. Withstanding a second half blitz by the University of Charleston the Senators win 85-73.
The Lady Senators trailing by three at the half were plagued by turn over’s and inconsistent shooting and lost to the University of Charleston 104-67. The Lady Senators host West Liberty State University on Saturday, February 9th.
BEST OF THE WEST SOFTBALL TOURNEY CANCELED DUE TO RAIN
Weather has caused officials to cancel the remaining schedule in Best of the West Softball tournament. The Senators had good outings and ended the weather shortened tourney with a 1-3 record.
