Student Teaching in Education
Student teaching is the culminating experience
in the teacher education program. Teacher candidates work full-time
in public schools classrooms under the mentoring of a qualified
co-operating teacher. By the end of two seven-week teaching placements,
student teachers have gained valuable experience in planning, teaching
and managing a classroom.
