Music Scholarships

Music Scholarships are available to any student who participates in the performing ensembles at Davis & Elkins College. This includes Music Majors, Music Minors, and students studying other disciplines who wish to continue their music activities while at Davis & Elkins College.

A Music Scholarship may be worth up to $6,000 per year and is renewable each year pending a review of the student's progress.

Auditions
An audition is required before a Music Scholarship may be given.

Students should prepare two selections in contrasting styles. If an accompanist is needed, one will be provided for you. The audition may also include some major scales and sight-reading.
Auditions are scheduled throughout the year and may be coordinated with regularly-scheduled College Visit Days.
