The Madden Student Center is the center of many Davis & Elkins students' everyday lives. Located conveniently below the Benedum Dining Room, it’s a hub of activity from early morning to late in the evening, where students hang out, eat, shop, and enjoy other activities sponsored by many organizations on campus. There is something herefor everyone.

The Davis & Elkins College Bookstore has every text book you’ll need for classes; gifts and apparel for anyone wanting to show off their school spirit; and enough pencils, pens, paper, and folders to keep you stocked for the year. Stop by or call ext. 1355.

The Career Management Center is located in the Madden Center so you can find Director Amy Goddard to get resume advice, check out internships and prepare for your career.

If you’re expecting a package from mom or this month’s magazine you’ll find it at the Campus Mailroom. Ext. 1900.

When the Dining Room just isn’t enough, you can satisfy your hunger at the Cadillac Daddy Café. Serving all kinds of favorites from Quesadillas to Brownie Sundaes and Smoothies to Jalapeño Poppers, you’re sure to find something to enjoy. If you’re looking for something on the go, stop by theconvenience store next door and pick from a wide variety of snacks. Paying is as simple as swiping your card if you're on one of the campus meal plans. To find out what’s on the menu call ext. 1208.

The Madden Center Game Room holds pool tables, ping-pong tables, a foosball table, a TV with comfortable seating, and other games and activities located in the stock room. Three times a semester the Madden Centersponsors a Ping-Pong or Pool Tournament for students with prizes to the winners.

If you’re just looking for a quiet place to sit and relax or watch TV the Timms Lounge is for you. Furnished with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere it’s the perfect place to kill an hour between classes or wait for the Dinning Hall to open. If you’re musically inclined, a well tuned piano can be used in the lounge. Also within the lounge is a stage with lighting used for special activities.

If it’s a nice day outside and you think a little fresh air is just what you need the Davis Trust Patio is the place to be with ample space for several tables and many chairs to look into the woods that surround the patio or look onto the Graceland Mansion next door.
