Fall Fest 2006
September 9th, 2006 Presented by C.A.B. Featuring ZOX & Wizdom
Zox - Zox could be considered to be one of the hardest working bands in America. The foursome, up
until recently, managed to book their own tours, manage themselves, design their own merchandise, run their
own record label, as well as achieving what many bands dream of achieving: making a living playing music. ZOX
matches twists and turns that showcase their impressive arranging ability with free-flying improvisational
flights and sweat-soaked catharses that just plain ROCK. In the past two years, the foursome have managed to
book more than 400 shows, appearing with artists ranging from The Black Eyed Peas, The All-American Rejects,
Everclear, The Roots, Live, and Gogol Bordello. This summer in 2006, their relentless touring continues, playing
several weeks on the Warped Tour.
Wizdom - Originally from Jamaica, Errol Williams, the founder of Wizdom, arrived in the United States
in 1991, with the intentions of creating the Wizdom World Beat Reggae Band. It did not take long for the band
to perfect their music and gain much deserved recognition. Performing all over the Pittsburgh region, in several
states, and in Canada,. In 1996, Wizdom won the Battle of the Bands showcase at Pittsburgh’s best reggae
performers. In 1998, they continued such success with their first self-released album “innocent Blood” with two
tracks winning the Billboard Song Awards. Wizdom has finished another self-released album entitled “rivers of Love”
that has gained radio play for four tracks to date. Wizdom is considered by most to be one of the best reggae bands
in Pennsylvania.
